What is going on in the United States and with human beings in general? To put it in the most basic terms, it has to do with words, symbols, and the inane act of people giving them power. I could start with flags, but I won’t. Let me start with words. Words are just that, words. They only have control on your psyche if you allow them to. Notice the word ALLOW, because the utterance of a phrase is as harmless as the wind brushing your skin. If the wind picks up, and you don’t like it, usually you can seek shelter. Words are the same way. If you don’t like what someone is saying or writing, you can choose to ignore their rhetoric and find sanctity within. Unfortunately, most people do not know how to do this. In fact, I would say very few have mastered the art of ‘turning the other cheek’ and that is why the world remains in chaos.
I sense that this may be argued. People will say that we must stand up against hate, violence, and the speech and symbols that represent them. I hear you, but what I am writing about challenges ‘reality’. Let me put it to you this way, all money is simply paper, metal, or numbers on a computer screen. There is no value in it; it is valuable because we, as humans, have agreed that these inanimate objects have worth. What if dried flowers or sea shells were used as currency? There would be a run on the shores of the oceans and fields of this planet to collect as many of them as possible.
In a lot of ways this is like my last blog about how reality on Earth skews against another reality. And perhaps it is why I have remained silent; it is because nothing changes. In fact, it seems that many human beings are taking steps backwards. I’m not sure if some folks can even comprehend what I’m trying to convey. In the simplest of terms a flag is just a piece of cloth, a word that starts with ‘n’ is just a word. What if that kid had been waving a rainbow flag? What if people of color had been called something else? Would that rainbow flag be banned and that other word be bleeped out and not ‘allowed’ to be spoken?
By even attempting to clarify this issue, I might be vilified, and my point lost. And the arguments may come…
“If we don’t remember what happened then we will do it again! How can you be so stupid Kim? We have to tear down symbols of hate and ban words that are bad.”
And my reply is this, “Nothing, as in NO-THING, has power over a heart or a mind unless we allow it.”
If someone slapped you on the face ten years ago, do you still feel it? No. What if you had a scar from the slap? It would only be a RE-MIND-ER. Which to me implies the mind going back in time. The action or the scar are not hurting now, but if you let your brain go to that place in your history you can become pretty emotional about it. The slap is the same as the flag or the word, it is only painful because you won’t let it go. It is not happening NOW. And if you feel that it is, then find the strength (within) to recognize that YOU have the ability in your mind to shut it down. Words and symbols are innocuous, they only do harm if we surrender to the falseness that they have meaning.
Note: The collusion of mainstream media and corporations are stirring things up on purpose. By dividing us they seek to gain more control over our remaining freedom.
